Modern archaeologist excavating Egyptians tombs have often found something unexpected amongst the tombs artifacts. Pots of honey, thousand of years old and yet still preserved.
One of the cases dates to 1922 when during archaeological excavation of King Tutankhamun’s tomb was found a ceramic jar of honey. The archaeologists tasted it, and to their amazement found it to be sweet and edible – 3000 year old honey still edible.
