Honey shouldn’t be refrigerated. To retain all its natural qualities, honey is best stored on room temperature away from direct sunlight. Temperature below 10°C will slow down the natural process of crystallisation, whereas temperature between 10 – 23°C will favour the processes. It isn’t recommended to store your honey in non – food plastic or metal containers, as they can cause honey to oxidise. Glass jar with lids are ideal for storing honey. Make sure the lid is properly close after use, so honey is not exposed to air while not being use. Honey does not spoil, the above is recommended to enjoy on the best taste and take most of honey’s beneficial qualities.
