Raw Organic Honeydew Honey is gathered by bees from sweet honeydew found on deciduous trees growing across pristine forest landscapes.
Dark, aromatic and naturally less sweet than many blossom honeys, it offers a remarkably deep and complex character.
Carefully handled from hive to jar without pasteurisation, blending or fine filtration, so the honey retains its naturally occurring pollen, enzymes and plant-derived compounds.

About the Deciduous Honeydew
Deciduous forests are rich and diverse ecosystems, home to broadleaf trees such as oak, beech, linden, maple and hornbeam. Unlike blossom honey, Honeydew Honey is produced when bees collect sweet honeydew found on the leaves, branches and bark of deciduous trees rather than gathering floral nectar.
Scientific research into honeydew honeys has identified naturally occurring phenolic compounds and a rich mineral composition, alongside notable measured antioxidant activity. Their distinctive properties have also led researchers to compare certain European honeydew honeys with Manuka honey in laboratory studies investigating antibacterial activity.

Great honey and service but have you changed the packaging? The seal around the top of of the lid seems thinner and more difficult to remove, unlike the stiff plastic one which seemed to peel off easily once you spilt the perforations The result is that the honey oozes down the sides and you end up with sticky fingers every time you use the jar. Maybe it’s just me?!

We haven’t made any changes to the packaging or to the shrink band—the protective seal around the jar lid. It is likely that the seal on this particular jar was positioned slightly higher than usual, making it more difficult to remove, and that a small amount of honey had leaked around the lid.
Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience—and the sticky fingers! We will pay particular attention to the positioning of the lid seals when preparing future orders.

It’s thick but still drips nicely off the spoon, the perfect consistency in my opinion.
I wasn’t sure about buying this variety but I’m so glad I did, it did not disappoint.
I’m finding it hard to describe its taste in detail and do it justice.
Best I can say is it tastes really natural and so good I can never resist taking an extra spoonful.

Delicious. I’ve tried different types of honey over the years, most recently an expensive Manuka Honey, but this Honeydew Honey beats the rest hands down. It’s velvety and not too sweet. Great to take on it’s own or mixed with a warm lemon drink. I will definitely buy again.

This honeydew honey is made of deciduous not conifer trees, which I usually buy, but I would still recommend it. It has a lovely taste (less strong than the conifer honeydew honey) and offers similar benefits to manuka honey. The product arrived well packed and the delivery was quick. I will purchase again.
