About Ginger
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is an aromatic flowering plant whose underground rhizome has been used as a spice and in traditional practices for thousands of years across Asia and beyond.
Fresh ginger naturally contains bioactive compounds known as gingerols, particularly 6-gingerol, which contribute to its characteristic pungency. Gingerols and related compounds have been extensively investigated for their antioxidant activity and their interaction with inflammatory processes and oxidative stress.

Have just opened this for the first time. It tastes great and the ginger is very noticeable, but I was a bit surprised at how hard set it was and difficult to scoop out. The neck of the jar could do with being a bit wider ideally.

This honey is also great!! I have a sensitive throat, so this is very soothing.
It came with a bit of ginger powder residue on top, but fine to be scooped up with the honey. It is quite hard though – so I need to use a steel spoon to carve away some honey to put in my tea (even though I heard metal can reduce some of the healing quality of the raw honey), but a wooden spoon will not be strong enough … Unfortunately. Packaging was secure and quick delivery.
