Raw Apricot Honey 900g
Raw Apricot Honey is made from nectar gathered by bees from delicate apricot blossoms appearing at the beginning of spring. Smooth and beautifully aromatic, it combines gentle sweetness with the distinctive fruity-floral character of the orchard.
Carefully handled from hive to jar without pasteurisation, blending or fine filtration, so the honey retains its naturally occurring pollen, enzymes and plant-derived compounds.
Taste: Smooth and aromatic, with delicate floral notes, hints of ripe stone fruit and a pleasantly long, fruity finish.
Pairing: Its delicate fruit character works beautifully with soft goat’s cheese or creamy mascarpone and freshly baked pastries. Also delicious drizzled over panna cotta or used to add a subtle floral sweetness to sparkling water and homemade lemonade.
About the Apricot Blossom
Apricot trees (Prunus armeniaca) are among the first fruit trees to burst into flower in early spring, covering their branches with delicate white and pale-pink blossoms before their leaves fully emerge. Their early, nectar-producing flowers provide an attractive forage source for bees when relatively few other fruit trees are in bloom.
